Any website owner has probably heard this before, "Affiliate marketing can earn you huge commissions.."

That statement is vague but it is very true and there are many affiliates earning extraordinary incomes monthly. Even though there are a good number of high earners in the field of affiliate marketing there are a much higher amount of affiliates who dont make money online. Understand that about 99% of affiliate marketers dont make money online. So why is it that only about 1% of affiliate marketers are earning a passive income online? What are they doing different from the rest of affiliate marketers? I am going to list 5 essential things the average affiliate is NOT doing and if they were these things they would indefinitely earn more income online.

Essentially these "Super" affiliates (if we may call them that) know how to build a residual income.. and I am going to name 5 things regular affiliate marketers are not doing to build residual income.

5 things "Super" Affiliates DO that average affiliate marketers DONT..

1. They Are Affiliates To The Hottest Products in their niche - "Super" affiliates spend time researching specifically for the best affiliates in their niche. Not necessarily the most popular but the best affiliates and the ones that seem to solve alot of problems in their niche.
   
2. Have Websites Specifically To Cater To Traffic For Their Affiliates - The internet is for users to be able to access the information they are looking for. So "Super" affiliates build websites that cater to their niche and give information to people who are searching for information regarding that niche. They advertise their affiliate products on their website. They have several pages of information and use their pages as a medium for their products.
   
3. Advertise.. Advertise.. Advertise.. They Understand The Power Of Advertising - "Super" affiliates use the tactics of advertising to their advantage on their own websites or forums. They advertise their affiliates or links to their own pages funneling their traffic through their own lane and they advertise every step of the way to their traffic. They also advertise their websites through signatures or direct advertising if its allowed on forums specifically catering to their niche because many times viewers in these forums are just looking for information regarding a certain problem. So they target their traffic by presenting themselves as a very helpful person by answering questions and really giving helpful information and that targets traffic to their website.
   
4. Build Their Own Opt-In Email List - "Super" affiliate marketers build their own opt-in email list through giving away free downloads on their newsletter or just giving something away of value for free and ask for their contact information in order to receive what ever it is they are giving away. They do this on their websites over and over in order to take advantage of the amount of traffic they are getting. They have already targeted this traffic enough through their advertising and then they get as much of their traffics contact information in order to continue advertising to these potential buyers.
5. Advertise and sell residual income building products to their own opt-in email list - Now that they have hungry & desperate internet users who clearly want more information on a certain niche and they have collected their contact information through newsletter or whatever they were giving away and the email list is in an autoresponder and they continue to advertise products in their email opt-in list which are usually recurring monthly billing products which they earn income from as an affiliate every single month. This builds them residual income through constant monthly checks and they get new sign ups daily through there traffic and they all enter the advertising funnel of the newsletter. So this is really targeted advertising.

Affiliate marketing is a business like any other business and we have to use successful people in each business and try and model their work and their success. Internet marketing success is attainable but you have to follow the basic fundamentals and work hard day in and day out.

I am here to discuss today few of the biggest problems with Network Marketing. Its not the system that fails.. Its the people..
If you gather up your self one day and say I want to make more money and type up in google.. 'How do I make more money online' or 'How do I market a business online' or 'How can I build a residual income for life', you will probably come up with many different websites pointing you in all kinds of different directions and many of us see opportunities and pass them up everyday and those same people pray every night to make more money.. but even the ones who take up on offers and sometimes spend ridiculous amounts of money to start something and then never take it seriously..
